Coke Money Hits #4 on iTunes

Every independent artist knows the math working against them. The top of the iTunes chart is major-label territory: radio campaigns, playlist teams, and marketing budgets that can outspend an independent label's entire year in a weekend. On February 8, 2024, Kaspa Killa's single "Coke Money" climbed to #4 on the iTunes chart anyway.

"Coke Money" is a street record in the classic sense — a hustler's narrative delivered over hard production. It was written, recorded, and released through his own company, Dark Underworld Records & Nocturnal Fire Entertainment, LLC, with no label machine behind it. What it had instead was an audience that had been growing release by release and a fan base that showed up on day one.

Why #4 matters

A chart peak is a receipt. It proves the demand is real, that an independent catalog can stand next to funded competition on the same list, and that owning your masters and your publishing — the way this label is built — does not cap how high a record can go. "Coke Money" remains one of the signature songs in the Kaspa Killa catalog and opens the KaspaKilla TV player on this site to this day.
