Kaspa Killa
Magick. Will. Power. & Purpose. Music & Art.
Kaspa Killa is the stage name of Daniel Brandon Cohee, an independent hip-hop artist, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and record label owner. Born May 6, 1982, in Atlantic City, New Jersey, he has been writing and performing hip-hop since the age of eight. He plays guitar, drums, keyboard, and bass, and he produces and engineers much of his own catalog.
Daniel is the founder and CEO of Dark Underworld Records & Nocturnal Fire Entertainment, LLC, the label through which he releases his music, his books, and his line of audio plugins. Releasing independently is a deliberate choice: every master, every publishing share, and every product on this site belongs to the house that built it.
Chart history
Kaspa Killa's single "Coke Money" reached #4 on the iTunes chart on February 8, 2024. His single "Dipp'N" reached #1 on Amazon on January 30, 2026. In August 2025, his YouTube channel passed 1.5 million views. These are independent numbers, achieved without a major label, driven by a loyal audience built one release at a time. The sound
The music is trap and hip-hop first — hard production, direct writing, and hooks built to stick — with a New Aeon strain running through the newer records. The writing is street-level storytelling from his own life: family, loyalty, loss, and the build of the label. His catalog runs to hundreds of released songs, including a headline collaboration with Caskey and features from Papoose, NBA YoungBoy, Styles P, Yukmouth, and his brother and labelmate $toney.
Beyond the music
Through the same company, Daniel builds professional audio plugins under the Nocturnal Fire name (see the free Nocturnal Fire Guitar Tuner), and created The Magick Current, an app carrying his teachings of the magickal arts. His tarot deck, The Magick Current Tarot, is available to order: get the deck. He operates KaspaKilla.com as the official store for his music, plugins, and merchandise. Booking inquiries for live performances, features, and collaborations: use the booking section on the home page or email [email protected].
